Who lives in Sullivan lost his wife & 3 ch by death during the past 6 weeks.  2 ch died of scarlet fever, an infant died soon after birth; the mother died last Fri evening of blood poison.  Another dau is seriously ill with pneumonia.  Mother died 14 Feb 1902.

d. 14 May @ Rest, Kansas @ ae 86 yr 8 m 5 d; lived in Lovington 1850 to 1869 when they left for KS; w/o John F. Williams, better known to our older citizens as “jug” Williams.  Mr. Williams was a blacksmith here.

Took his own life Mon. night @ home of his father, Squire William Winings in Lake City; d. 13 Oct. @ ae 40y & a widower; leaves an 18 yr. Old daughter; bur. Long Creek Cemetery.
